Afterschool Homework Help

We are starting up the after school program for students in Grades 6-12.  This program has been re-shaped to focus on academics.  The intent of the program is help students succeed in their classes through study sessions, homework, and additional academic support.  Teachers will be notified of student participation.

Students in Grades 7-12 will continue to be able to use this program as a place to stay after school while waiting for an athletic or school sponsored event.

New students in Grade 6 will be referred to the CROP program for this assistance.  These sixth grade participants will need to complete  the CROP application.

Bussing can be provided by the CROP bus at 5 pm.  However, a student will need  to have permission from a parent to take the CROP bus.  There is one drop off in Fleischmanns for this bus.

Joy Holden and Jamie Durkin will be providing the academic support for this program.  Dorothy Rose will expand her CROP responsibilities to be the Site Coordinator.  The support for this program comes from a grant we received along with a consortium of three other local districts (Stamford, Jefferson and Charlotte Valley).
