Our Present Day Margaretville Central School

Nestled In The Catskill Mountains lies Margaretville Central School. The original Margaretville Central School was built in the 1930's. Since then, Margaretville Central School has changed quite a bit. since the 1930's. Construction for the addition began in 2002-2003. This addition added a new gym, library and new wings for High School And Elementary School. Every year Margaretville Central School gains new students and teachers. The current principal of Margaretville Central School year is Mrs.Linda Taylor. The current superintendent of Margaretville CS is Mr.John Riedl. Margaretville Central School has a current student body of 500+ students.

Margaretville's newest addition to the town.

During the summer of 2007, The Parson School Of Design took down the pavilion that used to lie in the exact spot this one does. The previous pavilion was taken down due to rotting posts. The posts that were holding the pavilion up were over a decade old. This new pavilion is built in a way that if there is another flood the water can flow right through the enclosed portions of the pavilion. The pavilion is lit during the day by sunlight and there is a deck on the second story of this pavilion. Check out the cooking facility!
