Using Time Wisely After School Program

MCS has launched a new program to support students in grades 7-12 waiting for athletic practice or a basketball game this year. The Using Time Wisely Program provides supervision, homework assistance, social networking, and computer usage to students while waiting for these activities. It is hoped that this structured use of time will benefit students in providing time to complete homework and still be active as a student/athlete or supportive spectator. As there is not enough time to return home or obtain a ride back to school for many students, the Using Time Wisely Program provides a structured opportunity to be used by students. Thus far, the program has been a benefit to students.
