PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The Margaretville Central School District’s physical education staff strives to provide a quality and diversified program. All students are required to take physical education during each year of attendance unless excused by a physician for a condition that does not allow for an adaptive curriculum. Physical Education is a requirement for graduation and you must successfully complete and pass four years of high school physical education. Students entering 9th grade by September 2001 and later will earn ½ credit per year.
GRADE LEVEL 9-12
The introduction of advanced individual “Lifetime” skills and tam activities are stressed at this level of the curriculum. However, other key components such as fitness, social involvement in activities and health related items are also planned into the curriculum.

Objectives: The health class at Margaretville encourages total lifelong wellness in areas of physical, social, and mental health. Provides an atmosphere for students to question and explore their own lives when they leave MCS . Develop attitudes that will help them understand the problems of others. Areas of study includes:
