This summer the Northern Catskill Occupational Center (NCOC) in Grand Gorge is planning to offer a FREE summer career exploration program for area students entering 7th, 8th, and 9th Grades.  NCOC would like to offer two sessions:  one the week of July 10-14 and one the week July 17-21.  For each week, two separate sessions have been planned to run.  One session will be scheduled from 8:15 am - 11:00 am and the other session will be scheduled from 11:30 am - 12:15 pm.  Please complete the attached form and return it to your school counselor by Friday, June 2, 2017.  Program offerings and sessions do depend on enrollment. [...click for more]

Exhibits and performances by MCS Students, Faculty, Staff and Community members including, Spin demonstrations, Cheerleading & Gymnastics performances, MCS Guidance Dept. with career opportunities, MCS Science Research class and Science club, Frost Valley YMCA, Free tree seedlings, a Bounce House sponsored by Belleayre Mt., Information on Drug prevention, Life Guard opportunities, Free healthy food samples, Boxing demonstrations (9-10:30 a.m.) to “Knock Out Cancer” for TJ Petry and much more…

Congratulations to our Margaretville Central School Valedictorian, Courtney Scheffler, and to her teacher, Mr. JeffreyMann, for being honored at Wednesday night's Scholar Recognition Banquet hosted annually by DCMO BOCES and area buiness and education partners.  The banquet was held at SUNY Oneonta's Hunt Union Ballroom to recognize neighboring counties scholars and ther teachers. The Margaretville Central School's National Honor Society invites you to organize a team to compete in their Bubble Ball Soccer Tournament.  The tournament will be Friday, May 19th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the gymnasium.  Teams are to be comprised of 5-10 members and must complete the registration process.  Each Team will pay a $100 entrance fee.  Procedes will go to Team TJ.  Contact Ms. Dove Karn for more information.  See registration packet.  All Teams must complete and return the Release form. [...click for more]
