Our Mission: The students and staff are here to work to make Margaretville a better educational institution. The Senate practices effective decision making procedures and they discuss important issues in today's society. They are the first level of decision making; approving activities, clubs and classes. They also sponsor the Snapple machine in the cafeteria to create scholorships for students.
Membership: In order to be a member of the Student Senate one must be elected by his/her class and only two are chosen. All are invited to attend, and the Senate welcomes new faces. Current members include: M. Moore, G. Fairbairn, P. O'Connell, O. Todd, A. Filupeit, P. Misner, A. Hall, and C. Todd.
A Little About Senate: Senate meets on Wednesdays in Mr. Lonecke's room and discusess old and new events occuring in the school and the community. They discuss new activites that classes can participate in to work to make some money for their senior trip, or talk about improvements that can be made in the school or community.
