Trooper Neumuth

On Tuesday, Margaretville Central School welcomed Trooper Timothy Neumuth to lead an important assembly for students in grades 5 through 12 focused on the dangers and impact of vaping. The presentation, held in the auditorium, provided students with valuable information on the history and marketing of vaping products, the science behind addiction, and the health risks associated with vape use.

Trooper Neumuth engaged students with a clear, informative message and took time to answer numerous thoughtful questions from students. The session aimed not only to raise awareness but to empower students with facts to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

This assembly is part of MCS’s ongoing efforts to provide age-appropriate health and safety education across grade levels. Upcoming assemblies include Stranger Danger for students in grades PK–4 and a revised No Empty Chair safe driving presentation for students in grades 9–12. No Empty Chair addresses the serious consequences of risky driving behaviors, including speeding, texting while driving, not wearing a seatbelt, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

We thank Trooper Neumuth for his time and commitment to youth education and safety, and we look forward to continuing these important conversations with our students.
