Margaretville Central School is excited to welcome our newest learners and their families! Registration and screening for our Universal Pre-K (UPK) and Kindergarten programs for the 2026–2027 school year will take place on May 7, 2026.
Our UPK and Kindergarten programs are full-day experiences designed to help children grow, learn, and feel confident as they begin their school journey.
Eligibility Requirements:
UPK (Pre-K): Children must be 4 years old before December 1, 2026
Kindergarten: Children must be 5 years old before December 1, 2026
UPK placement is determined through a random selection process, and completed registration packets with all required documents are needed to be considered.
Please bring the following documents:
Birth certificate
Current physical exam
Immunization record
Proof of dental visit
Proof of residency
Custody documentation (if applicable)
