On Friday, October 16, our kindergarten students had an exciting visit to the Arena Fire Station to learn about fire safety and fire prevention!
During our visit, the students learned important fire safety tips and discussed ways to stay safe in an emergency. They also had the opportunity to practice stop, drop, and roll, spray a real fire hose at a cone, and even sit inside a firetruck! 🚒 To top off the fun-filled visit, everyone enjoyed a special treat of cider and donuts. 🍎🍩
Our kindergarteners had so much fun learning from our local firefighters and experiencing what it’s like at a real fire station. We are so grateful to the Arena Fire Department for welcoming us, sharing their knowledge, and helping make fire safety education such a memorable experience for our students.
Thank you for all you do to keep our community safe! We can’t wait to visit again! ❤️🔥

Message from Athletic Coordinator:
The goal here at MCS is to promote sportsmanship, respect, and school pride at every competition.
Please keep the following expectations in mind:
Respect Officials: Decisions made by officials must be respected. Disrespectful comments, arguing, or inappropriate gestures are unacceptable.
Respect Coaches and Players: Encourage our student-athletes and coaching staff. Negative comments directed toward players, coaches, or opposing teams will not be tolerated.
Positive Sideline Behavior: Cheer positively for our teams and avoid taunting, profanity, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Support Our Athletes: Remember that high school athletics are about more than winning. They provide opportunities for students to develop character, teamwork, discipline, and respect.
Represent Our School with Pride: Everyone attending an athletic event represents our school community. Our behavior should reflect the values we want our student-athletes to demonstrate.
We understand that competition can be exciting and emotions can run high. However, passion for our teams should never come at the expense of respect for others.
Thank you for helping us create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
