Anyone who would like to RSVP (either just for their athlete OR for athletes and guests) needs to email Julia Marks (jmarks2@margaretvillecs.org) as soon as possible.

Margaretville High School students had the chance to rub elbows with numerous career industries at Career Jam at Schenectady County Community College. Career Jam is a Workforce Development program that connects students to employers and future careers through hands-on exploration. Students were able to ask questions, interact with those in the career, and "play" with industry equipment. Students were also able to tour the campus and learn more about the college offerings.

Margaretville's Senior Spring Fever Dance was a success! Click on the link to see how much fun Baby Boomers, Gen X and Gen Z can have when you get them all together! https://youtu.be/d-1ahSRUTmM?feature=shared

Go Blue Devils!!

Today the administrative team accompanied by family members got to witness Seal Of Bilteracy Presentations by students Yamilet Perez and Merlinda Caamano.
The New York State Seal of Biliteracy encourages students to pursue and maintain biliteracy and bilingualism and can be evidence of skills that are attractive to future employers and college admissions offices. Upon completion of requirements, they will receive a seal on their diploma.
Kudos to these students and the dedication of Spanish Teacher, Ms. Stanford, ENL Teacher Frank Hayes and School Counselor Brittany Triebe for assisting with this process!

Today we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
"Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices." — Harry S. Truman, 33rd U.S. President

Many of us were fortunate to experience our School Choir perform this week on the night of the budget vote. How's that as a way to get folks into our school to vote?
The choir wowed the MCS school community with their talent.
Additionally, it was powerful to see the students love for their choir group. It was also amazing to see the elementary students on stage with the high school students. Clearly they were enjoying themselves!
It certainly felt like a united school community!
KUDOS!

Tonight our National and Junior National Honor Society students were officially inducted!
Thank you Ms. Tanzer and Mrs. Wells for bringing this special event back to MCS.
What an honor to be among these students this evening!

If your student is in need of a physical please have them pick up a form
