Welcome new English Teacher, Mr. Brandt who will start in March!
I’m Max Brandt, and I’m very excited to be joining the Margaretville community. I’ve been in education for nearly a decade, working with students from middle school through college. I studied English and Philosophy as an undergraduate and earned a master’s in teaching English—and I’m passionate about sharing my love of literature and storytelling. In my classroom, I prioritize curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion. Outside of teaching, I enjoy working on the family farm, searching for new swimming holes, and chasing after my two young sons.

Thanks to Christina Kim & Eric Kim for hosting our Live Music class students at Cafe Mornings today. Students have been following their interest in learning more about world cultures, and joined in discussion about cultural expressions from the US and Korea.

MCS students have been enjoying their new electric drum set purchased with funds raised from last year's "Fortissimo" concert. For more info on this special event taking place June 14 this year, please visit https://sites.google.com/margaretvillecs.org/fortissimo/home
