Attention parents of children in grades 3-6. MCS Booster Club Youth Basketball starts tomorrow. Sign-up begins at 9am with practice to follow ending at 11am. Fee is $20 for the season which includes their shirt. December practices will be 12/6, 12/13, and 12/20 9-11am. January and February schedules will be given out tomorrow. Yesterday, Mrs. Pacheco’s 2nd-grade class enjoyed a Thankful Breakfast! They made waffles, pancakes, and eggs, and also had fresh fruit, orange juice, and apple cider. It was a wonderful way for the students to spend time together and share what they are thankful for.

We are finalizing plans for Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 20. with additional meetings today and Friday, November 21. The National Honor Society will be providing child care during both conference windows: 1:00–3:00 PM and 5:00–7:00 PM

Check it out! On Friday, our counseling department took the 8th-grade class to the Northern Catskill Occupational Center to explore Career and Technical Education programs! Students explored Automotive Service Technician, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Equipment Operation & Repair, Visual Arts Communication & Technology, and Welding & Metal Fabrication.
During the visit, student ambassadors led 20-minute workshops for each program, giving our 8th graders an inside look at the skills and opportunities each pathway offers! These programs are offered in the 11th- and 12th-grade years, giving students valuable hands-on experience before graduation.
