As we look toward November, parent/teacher conferences are being scheduled. This is an important opportunity for parents and guardians to meet with teachers, discuss student progress, and partner together to support continued growth.
For students in grades PK–6, invitations will be mailed mid-week next week with your scheduled conference time. Please review the information carefully. If the assigned time does not work for you, contact Danielle Fronckowiak at 845-586-2647, ext. 1010 to reschedule.
For students in grades 7–12, we anticipate mailing invitations by November 10. To help us plan, please complete a brief survey (https://forms.gle/6sxRZUQUo4UNG4uCA) indicating your preferred meeting time — morning, afternoon, or evening. Beginning next Wednesday, our team will call parents/guardians who have not yet responded to gather this information.
Thank you in advance for your timely response and for your continued partnership in your student’s education.

The final decision will be made and communicated by 10:00 a.m. tomorrow via robocall and a posting on our website.
Additional Notes:
*Parents wishing to sign their students out following the parade may do so through their child’s teacher.
*Costumes should be appropriate for school and follow our Code of Conduct. Please leave costume weapons, masks/face coverings, and bags at home for your after-school events and trick-or-treating fun.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to celebrating with our students!

📸 Learning, Leading, and Exploring Together!
After a full day of learning sessions focused on topics such as artificial intelligence in education, mental health supports and resources for schools, and the evolving role of school boards, Superintendent Michelle Osterhoudt and the Margaretville Central School Board of Education—including our student ex officio member Alani Mendez—had the opportunity to explore a little bit New York City together.
It was a day filled with professional growth, teamwork, and shared experiences that strengthen our commitment to providing the very best for our students and community. #MCSBlueDevils #LeadershipInLearning #TeamMCS #SchoolBoardStrong
