For more than 20 years, the DCMO BOCES Scholar Recognition Program has honored outstanding high school seniors across the region for their academic achievement, leadership, character, and dedication to their school communities. Each student scholar also recognizes a mentor who has made a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
This well-deserved recognition reflects Brianna’s hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. MCS is incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and the positive example you continue to set for others.
A special thank you to mentor Erin Cure for the guidance, encouragement, and support provided throughout Brianna’s journey. The influence of strong mentorship helps inspire confidence, growth, and success.

MCS/SK defeated GCR in a hard fought game by both sides, by a final score of 6-2!
Garret Dropp was the winning pitcher for MCS/SK, and pitched a complete game!
Anthony Maggio was 3-3 at the plate with an RBI and a stolen base!
Varsity Baseball: #1 seed SKCS/Margaretville will be playing the #2 seed Gilboa Conesville/Roxbury on Field #6 in Neahwa Park in Oneonta. 4:30 start time!
If the fields are unplayable, the rain date will be Friday May 15th, with the same places and times.
UPDATE: We need to change our meals tomorrow, 5/12 to the following:
Hot Dog or Hamburger on a Bun, w/Bacon, Cheese, Pickles, Lettuce & Tomato. Tator Tots & Baked Beans
Please note that today’s lunch menu will be changing due to unforeseen circumstances in our kitchen. We expect to return to the regularly scheduled menu tomorrow.
If there are any additional menu changes this week, we will post updates before the end of the school day.

📅 Last Day for Grades 7–12:
Students in grades 7–12 will have their last day of school on June 16.
⏰ PK–6 Half Days Begin June 17:
Starting June 17, students in grades PK–6 will follow a half-day schedule with dismissal at 11:30 a.m.
🎓 Celebrations on June 25:
Our PK–5 Moving Up Ceremony and Grade 6 Celebration are scheduled for June 25! More information and details will be shared soon.
🎓 Graduation:
Graduation will take place on June 27 as we celebrate the Class of 2026! 🎉

The girls VARSITY softball game is being MOVED to Gilboa Central School, due to an issue at Archibald field.
Start time will be as soon as we arrive and warm up. They will still be playing a double header(weather permitting)
